8-9 March – Second Geneva Summit for Human Rights, Tolerance and Democracy

The second annual session of theGeneva Summit for Human Rights, Tolerance and Democracy, organized by an international coalition of human rights NGOs, will take place on 8-9 March in Geneva, in parallel with the main annual session of the United NationsHuman Rights Council.

The Summit aims to place some of the world’s most compelling human rights situations on the UN and international agenda, and to make a difference by educating, energizing and empowering human rights activists around the world. It will offer dissidents and human rights activists from around the world a global platform to share their personal struggles, their fight for freedom and equality, and their vision for how to bring change. Furthermore, the Summit will be provide a space to create synergies and build a strong network between political dissidents and human rights activists from around the world.
